Drivers injured using a vehicle

If you have been injured or have suffered some kind of financial loss or damage in a road accident you may well be entitled to compensation. To claim, you usually need to show that:

  • someone else was to blame, either wholly or partly
  • that your accident happened within the last 3 years (although there are some exceptions and it is always worth seeking legal advice immediately)
  • that you suffered an injury loss or damage to your property as a result

You do not have to be blameless, provided someone else was partly at fault. Usually the fact that your injury was serious to require medical attention; even a brief precautionary check over at an A&E unit or a visit to your GP is enough. If some of these criteria do not apply, then you should still contact a solicitor because you could still be entitled to compensation.

If you think you may have a case for compensation contact us and seek specialist advice from one of our road traffic accident lawyers. You can either fill out our online enquiry form, request a call back or call us direct on 0800 915 4650.
